Dear Parishioners,
To strengthen stewardship at the Church of St. John the Martyr, we urge you to consider utilizing ParishPay™, an automated donation processor recommended by the New York Archdiocese and utilized by many churches throughout the country.
ParishPay LLC is the country's largest religious donations processor. St. John the Martyr has been utilizing ParishPay since May 2008; however, fewer than 25 parishioners are currently enrolled in the program. By registering for ParishPay, you will simplify your weekly giving routine while providing the parish with a predictable income.
In lieu of weekly collections in envelopes, ParishPay securely and confidentially collects monthly contributions from your checking, saving, or credit card account. And once you register for ParishPay, you can change your election or discontinue contributions at any time, if your financial circumstances change. There is NO cost to participate in the program and there is NO service charge.
Our parish, like any household or business, requires reliable, regular revenues in order to meet its ongoing financial obligations and plan for the future. Currently, our collections vary substantially from week to week and season to season, based on factors such as weather, vacations, and today's more mobile families. Your participation in ParishPay will enable our offertory collections and income throughout the year to become more consistent.
Please register and begin utilizing ParishPay by downloading and completing an enrollment sheet. Put your completed form in the church collection basket or drop it off at the rectory.
You may also sign up directly by visiting the ParishPay website and selecting the church of Saint John the Martyr or by calling 1-866-PARISH-1 (1-866-727-4741).
Thank you for your continued support of our parish community, and for considering ParishPay. This is of great importance to us in helping to address our finances and to better insure the success and growth of the Church of St. John the Martyr.
Sincerely,
Fr. Sean Harlow

It was a breeze to register! I liked that all the questions I had were addressed in the FAQ section. It took me all of 2 minutes to register. Parish Pay sends a courtesy email several days prior to charging your credit card or making the debit to your account. You can also see the history of your giving by generating a report in about 5 seconds! Good for tax time to have this handy while waiting for an official receipt. You can also select other churches you frequent, such as your vacation home, from the pull-down menu of parishes on the Parish Pay website. Overall, no more writing checks or worrying about lateness. We believe that when we take care of God, He takes care of us!
